Bashaun Williams

Bashaun started dancing at the age of 16 in Texas with Ballet Lubbock under Yvonne Racz-Key, Artistic Director. As a Junior and Senior, he was captain of his Basketball team and a member of Ballet Lubbock’s pre- professional Company. Bashaun was offered both academic and Artistic Merit scholarship in the department of ballet all four years at the University of Utah. While at the U, he danced Principal and Soloist roles in Utah Ballet, Ballet Ensemble, and Ballet Showcase and worked with many great choreographers such as Eddy Toussaint, Stevan Novakovich, Edward Truitt, Val Caniparoli, and Rick Tjia. He was selected to travel and perform in Tokyo, Japan as part of their international gala. Bashaun has also performed principal and soloist roles in Harbor Ballet Theater’s Nutcracker and Ballet Minnesota’s Sleeping Beauty. -- “I am forever greatful for a second season with Ririe-Woodbury and I would just like to thank God, Charlotte, my co-workers, family and friends for their continuous support of my passion and career.”
