Drew Jaussaud (“Jo-so”) joined Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company in 2018. Drew holds an AA in Dance Performance from the country’s only accredited junior college for dance, Casper College and a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Wyoming. Drew’s performance credits include: Evita: The Musical, Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar (Titinius), and Echoing Terrain of Solitude by Repertory Dance Theatre veteran, Aaron Wood. His choreographic highlights include: an original work for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming, Jamii, with grant support from the Boys and Girls Foundation, original solo and group choreography in collaboration with Wyoming Poet Laureate, David Romtvedt for the Wyoming State Literary Conference, and a solo from his work, Allegories, at Wyoming’s FCCLA annual conference.
In addition to performance and choreography, Drew has a passion for stage management and arts administration. Drew has had the pleasure of stage managing full-evening dance concerts featuring the works of: Jose Limon (Excerpts from “The Winged”), Jarek Cemerek (Woman, Weman, WE Man), Marsha Fay Knight (Chopin Studies), and Jennifer Deckert (Dracula: The Legend in Motion & tour). Drew has served as the University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance’s Social Media Intern, the Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival’s Head Intern and Technical Intern, and Administrative/Recruitment Assistant to the dance program at Casper College.
