Dancer Audition

RIRIE-WOODBURY DANCE COMPANY is looking for two dancers for the 2020/2021 Season. All professional level dancers are encouraged to audition.

Open Audition:

Saturday, March 14, 2020 

9:00am - 9:45am check-in | 10:00am - 6:00pm Audition


Sunday, March 15, 2020

10:00am - 6:00pm 

Dancers must attend the Open Audition on March 14 to qualify for the callback on March 15.

Seeking experienced dancers who are technically strong, stylistically versatile, and creative to join this 6 member contemporary dance company. Ririe-Woodbury offers a yearly contract of a minimum of 40 weeks of work, July - June, plus health insurance. These positions include performing, teaching, educational outreach and support responsibilities.

For the audition, dancers need to be prepared to take class, learn repertory, improvise, and be involved in a creative process. Dancers should also have a two-minute solo of their own choreography prepared to be performed.To audition, dancers must pre-register online at before March 11th, 2020. Applications must include: a résumé, headshot, dance photos, contact information for two references, and optionally a link to an up to 5-minute online video of their dancing. Performance videos are preferred.

Ririe-Woodbury asks that only dancers who are interested in the position, and available, apply. All genders are welcome.

Contract begins June 8, 2020.

Applicants must have legal status to work in the United States.
