Gifts of Cash

There are many ways to share your enthusiasm and commitment for the community services of Ririe-Woodbury: a gift that is unrestricted, or earmarked for a particular program such as educational outreach, the full season, a program, or new choreography. You can also designate an endowment in someone's name, or to underwrite a position in perpetuity (such as Executive, Artistic or Education Director). Your gift will be tailored to reflect your interests as well as your generosity.

Please consult your tax advisor to take advantage of available tax benefits. Contributions are deductible as an itemized gift in the year the donation is received, so year-end gifts must be post-marked no later than December 31. Many companies match gifts to any 501(c) (3) organization such as Ririe-Woodbury Dance Foundation, so please ask if your employer has a matching gift program.

Gifts In Memory of...

 DSC6714

If you would like to honor a loved one, consider making a donation in memory of that person. Your gift and their name will be printed in Ririe-Woodbury performance program.

Planned Giving

You can give planned gifts in a number of ways through your will. Simply name Ririe-Woodbury Dance Foundation as a beneficiary, or work with your attorney to choose a plan that will provide you with income for life in either a trust as a part of your will, or with a contract made directly with the Foundation.  You can contribute cash, securities, or other assets to the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Foundation, and the Foundation agrees to pay an income to the donor for life and the life of the spouse or other named person.

Gifts of Stock, Securities and Life Insurance

You can gift stocks and bonds.  Note that some transfers take a week or more, so please start early to insure that the stock certificate can be endorsed and delivered to Ririe-Woodbury on the date you would like your gift to be recognized.  If making a gift through the mail, it is best to send each of these documents separately.  The date of the latest postmark becomes the date of the stock or bond gift.  Stock that is held in an account can be transferred into a temporary account in the Foundation's name through your broker.  In order to make a transfer, please contact Richard Lane at 801-297-4236 or for our broker and account information.

You can also gift a life insurance policy. Remember that a policy you no longer need is a valuable gift to Ririe-Woodbury.  You can contribute a life insurance policy by naming Ririe-Woodbury Foundation as either the owner of the policy, or the beneficiary. A new policy on your life, naming the Company as the beneficiary, assures a future gift as well.

Gifts of Real Estate

The gift date of real estate is the date the Foundation receives the signed deed. Remember that all gifts of this type must be accompanied by a qualified appraisal that is completed before the gift is made. Real estate can be simply given to Ririe-Woodbury, or given with the stipulation that you use the property for life.

Gifts of Time

A host of fabulous volunteers log over 1,000 hours each year to help in the office, assist with the Company's SLC performances, and serve on various committees. If you have time to donate, Ririe-Woodbury would love to hear from you. CONTACT: .
