Dance West

Dance West is a two week professional dance intensive hosted by the combined efforts of three of Salt Lake City’s established artistic entities: Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, and the University of Utah School of Dance.

Dive into a variety of movement-rich classes, including technique, repertory, improvisation, hip-hop, and ballet, while dancing alongside renowned professional companies. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in a performance, created during the workshop in a dynamic, shared performance alongside peers and professional artists.

At Dance West, we believe in fostering curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration across various historical and contemporary points of view. We provide space and time for dancers to develop as artists and human beings, encouraging personal growth in all aspects of their lives. We foster strong connections with the dancers and directors of the host organizations, as well as with our esteemed guest faculty, creating a vibrant and supportive community of artists with shared dedication and passion.
